Took couple of steps to configure and putting hidden codes resides in my blog just to keep track what will turn out, well I would say really surprise that Philippine is the top score for today! Also, other countries included such as Korea, United Arab Emirates, Canada, United States and Indonesia.

My first Radio in my life!
This is actually a gift from POSB Platinum credit card, I got a redeem voucher. (Although it is an “Analogue” tuning technology) Maaan… just take a look at the design! It’s cool, isn’t it? Had a thought to get a radio for myself while ago, now I don’t think I need to do that since I got a FREE one!

My 1st Drive in Singapore!
It may impossibly to accept as true that I finally driving in foreign country (Although it’s only Singapore.) Well, the feeling is kind of hard to put in words, but I definitely try the max to illustrate the experience that I gone through…
Driving in Malaysia and driving in Singapore is slightly different. You will see some kind of odd drawing on the road. (If you own a Singapore Driving License, you definitely know what does the odd-symbol means.) Well, overall I shall say not so difficult when come to drive in Singapore. As Singaporean is very courteousness into this. Of course this is meant for comment of majority, not to mention the minority issue. Most car rider are follow by-the-book, for instance, 90km/h meaning 90km/h, you hardly see 120km/h speeding on the highway, especially with the sign board stated “Camera Ahead”.
There is something called “Pocket” on the road. Well let me explain this, the purpose of pocket is to move on vehicle a little bit ahead while awaiting the Turn Right Signal to be prompted. There will be likely pocket shape drawn on the road which the Traffic lights turn Green, only vehicle heading to straight are allow to, meanwhile if there is no vehicle crossing straight to our end, we can turn right at the opposite side even though the Right Turn signal has not ready to given. We can still across! Amazing? I was shocked by once when the first time I was in the taxi and the taxi driver did what I mentioned above, I was thinking this is gonna be a crazy driver, how could he turn right when there is NO RIGHT TURN signal given, yet there was some cars are heading far towards. After I found out from my friend, it is a standard rule in Singapore; the driver has to be confident to cross over to right if he/she ensures there is no other vehicle heading to or far distance.
I’ve been driving from North to West, West to East, East to Central, nearly all over the places in Singapore during the first attempt, next round will be discover more to site basis.
Not really familiar with the highway, such as ECP, SLE, BKE, PIE, AYE and etc. but at lease, I know from my place to West side will be via PIE (Changi Air Port) not PIE (Tuas). Or from West to central will passing by CTE and look for the exits, many short-term will need to be familiar with. I bought the latest Street Directory 2006 to ensure the way goes and back for reference.
Let’s talk about IU (In-vehicle Unit) system with cash card, well, I give two thumb up for this system. In Malaysia, probably you can see it on the highway tolls which a special lane called “SMART TAG”. However, this isn’t the whole idea. Malaysia SMART TAG technology, where you have the IU system with cash card or maybe known as Touch N Go, when you pass-by the toll you will still need to slow down your vehicle to ensure gate is open widely and also auto-deduction of your cashcard value. In Singapore there will be convenient compare to Malaysia. They called it ERP, Electronic Raod Pricing which the reader machine built on the height distance to scan each and every vehicle pass-by that express way during the stated timing. With the “In Operations” or timing stated on the board, meaning you are about to enter the express way during the peak hour and your cash value will be deducted depending on which area you are in. And you need not to slow down your vehicle, because the machine up there can detect and deduct! Efficiency and Effectiveness, this is to built for good mankind. Eh, what about Malaysia?
Another good advantage of IU. Do you ever know when you parking at those shopping complex in Singapore, you are not require to winding down your windows. Unlike Malaysia, winding down windows, press button to collect the card, and wait a few second for the gate open. It is same thing happen as I describe ERP technology, there will be a device to detect your IU, and your vehicle entrance is based on the IU cashcard with value. I am not sure the value is determining the entrance, but I guess even you have zero value, it will still allow you to enter. Because, I believe you can top-up your cashcard in the complex somewhere.

Finally I can surf again:
My NEW wireless router “D-link, DI-524UP”
Being 4 years, tensional bought/shared by among our housemates for wireless broadband purposes; during those times wireless router is not so popular. D-Link DI-713P had done a great job till yesterday it went down permanently. In fact, it still can be used for cable port but not for wireless any longer. The problem of the wireless connection was went up and down from 11.0 mbps to 1.0 mbps and again again and again. It was frustrated to go to the router power OFF and ON again at the router. Unfortunately, the ending has no change.
Working on the New York’s shift as I always do scheduled for these 2 weeks, after 0800 SGT taking a train heading back to my flat. Start thinking gonna have a short break, get a dress change and going to nearest McD to test my notebook WLAN card. My friend suspected my WLAN card is not working properly, but my 6 sixth sense told me 100% that the DI-713P give me such headache. Guess it must be serving for long and it is time for her to rest in peace for the entire life. Hahaha… Alright, back to the story, I was talking about the testing WLAN card in my notebook. I went to McD and bought a set of breakfast. Guess what? When I open up my notebook and tried to scan the available access point, it really pissed me off. Reason was, there is no more wireless surf in this McD. Damn~ I keep chewing the burger and harshbrown just to save my time, because the time was showing 1030 SGT. I need to rush to Funan IT Mall which nearly located at Cityhall MRT.
I went down to McD Funan and grabbed a seat, testing the connection, for god sake my WLAN card is working perfectly. And open up my MS outlook to send an emergency email as promised to KUYO. After the testing session, I went up and grab a new wireless router, its name DI-524UP. It can support up to 54.0 mbps internal transfer speed, also acting as a print server with USB-Enabled.
By the time I reach home it was 1130 SGT, till I finished the configuration it was 1350 SGT. Got to bed else I couldn’t wake up cause I need to work at New York Shift again!!

勉励一个朋友的忠告
有时候，真得不晓得你所谓的“朋友”是真正的朋友麽？事发一年前，可以劝你离开那个令你伤透了心的男友。但事发一年后，不但没有给予支持却反而背叛你、责怪你。我真的搞不懂你所谓的朋友思想去了哪儿？什么处理不当、不应该这样……难道她们又知道你所谓前男友的一箩箩丑事？我看，只有问天才知道他是如何对待你！（或许你有必要让他们知道他究竟怎么对你？一个这样的男人值得依靠下半辈子吗？）
我倒觉得，处理不当反而是她们。要怪就怪你那群朋友吧！硬要维持一个空心的爱情，更何况你已表明你的立场，不再眷恋而且放弃那段情。一个可以死赖并咬着不放你的男友，根本就不懂得什么叫着[尊重女人]！一个爱你的男生，就得应该知道怎么叫做尊重。连这道理都不晓得，何来资格谈恋爱、去爱一个人？
直到现在，我想你的阴影还是没有消失吧！无所谓，我相信时间是可以把这些冲淡!再说，你现在是幸福的！就让你的快乐，来弥补你所失去的一切！
很高兴你现在是快乐、幸福的。有这么疼你的男生就要设法把他留住。男人有时候唠叨，原因很简单。就是因为要女人知道一些用钱买不到真理。男人需要他们的女人也懂得在什么样的时候，取用什么样的方法去治那些所谓的难题。
就算是无聊听听也无妨，也许有一天你有用到它的地方！

“Just About” A Free Dinner!
I couldn’t really figure out how long we didn’t meet up for a proper meal/dinner/beer. It should be more than 6 months that I can guarantee. Seeing very close colleagues leaving the organization follow by one and after.
Siva, aka The Joker of the Year 2005, inviting GTA and some ex-folks such as GSC guy like me and some ex-coll to meet up, but only 5 of us turned out. An Indian Dinner at Exelsior Hotel Shopping Centre, Coleman Street. This restaurant located at 2ND floor. It’s Unbelievable till I thought it was a humor tale in Singapore. It was happening 4 years back when I was working in a private institute and my Indian colleague told me there was a restaurant which you can pay as you feel it is reasonable after the meal. “What? Do I look like an idiot…” and some voices “can I pay 1 dollar?”, “Come on, give me a break…” these are the reaction that a bunch of people. Till then, this is the first time that really really going for that restaurant, “Annalakshimi”
I was late to join them but I can figure out where, by the time I arrived that area. Gosh, I couldn’t find the entrance. And I was like looking around and around, damn where the hell the entrance is? Till I nearly dig-out my cellphone and make a callout. Very co-incidentally a-look-like wall in fact is the entrance to welcome. Then I know I was fooled by this stupid wall. Haha…Another joke of the day!
I would say the interior design is full of decoration, statute, photos around the corner, it is exactly representing the Indian culture. According to Siva, the food that they serve are much different from outside stalls/restaurant. You can only taste the original Indian food here, a matter of fact, no doubt, yes it is. The “NAN” and the “PERATA” are tasty and look differently from outside.
First we have DO-SEI mixed with potato at the first round, second around also known as the last round for us. Can’t really imagine a DO-SEI could feed us well and full. So fortunate, the second order was waiting quite long period because it needs to be followed the queue. Not only can see Chinese and Indian in the restaurant, I saw some others like British, American or maybe Australian. The environment fit the feeling well, lights down with a warm Atmosphere. I saw couple of Reserve tag on couple of tables and this mean the food here is really unbeatable!
Overall, I would rate 10/10. Five of us paid 10 bucks each and it was really worth the words.

一顿”半送半卖”舒适晚餐!
我真的真的不能估计我们多久没有见面为适当的聚餐 。大该是超越六个月但我敢肯定的是我们都好久没有聚聚了。看见一个个非常要好的同事们随着离开公司，直叫人伤感!
司桦, 也俗称二〇〇五年的说笑话者, 邀请GTA和某个前伙计譬如像GSC 的我并且还有一些前同事见面, 结果只剩我们五位仁兄去赴约。 印第安餐厅位于在Exelsior 旅馆购物中心二楼, Coleman街道。我倒认为它是新加坡之幽默传说，原因是发生在四年前持当我工作在一所私立学院有位印第安同事告诉我有此餐馆。在膳食过后，您只需付如同您觉得合理评价。 “什么? 我看起来象蠢货……”并且还有一些说”我能付1 新元麽?”,”哎哟，饶了我吧……”这些都是的那束人们的反应。直到今晚, 才是我人生的第一次真正地去那所谓传说餐馆,名为“Annalakshimi”
我是晚了加入他们但我是知道此餐厅在何处, 当我到达了那个区域的时候。 哎呀, 我发现不着入口，并且我还在寻觅类似像入口物体。几乎要拿起我的手机，正要拨电话给我的同事的当时。看向墙壁实际上是入口欢迎。我的天啊，然后我才知道我已被墙壁唬弄了。 哈哈……又是另一则笑话!
我说啊，室内的设计是充分于装饰, 磨象还有相片围绕在餐厅附近, 它确切地代表印第安之文化。根据司桦,他们的食物是与外部摊口或别家印第安餐厅有所不同。这里，您能品尝最原始的印第安食物, 实际上, 绝对没有疑义, 它的的确确是。 “南”面包和”普罗塔”面包凭着他们最鲜美和神色的卖相，这就是与外界的不同事实。
首先在第一回合，我们品尝”哆赛”是来自面粉再加土豆的混合物, 第二回合亦称将近为最后一回合。不能真正地想像”哆赛”能喂饱我们好和与充分。很幸运地, 第二回合的等待相当长的时间，皆因店里是跟随队列为先，您大可以放心，他们的次序来得比我们准确。不仅看见华人和印地安人在此餐馆, 我也看倒了一些其他像英国, 美国人或可能澳大利亚人都在此用餐。 这里的环境感觉符合挺好, 温暖小光下，来一个温暖气氛. 我看见储备标记在好几桌，这足以证明这儿的食物是无人能打垮的!
总之, 我给10/10 估计。 我们五位支付了十新元并且它真正地是物超价值词。

“I Believe I Can Drive!!”
From the date of booking (Basic Theory Test, BTT) till to own a temporary license while awaiting the photo card license, I proudly present, yes I do have now!
It happened at last year November, booking a date for the test and sat for it on December 2005. One shot to straight PASSED which considered damn lucky as majority of my Malaysian friends couldn’t make it at the first attempt. Heard that is not so easy to pass the test. Well, I should say the question is kinda tricky and you got to focus what a police traffic philosophy and perception, only then you might pass the test. Well, believe it!
The reason I needed to convert my license is very simple: Those were the day, Malaysian tends to convert license need not go through all these tests. But recently, for Malaysian have to pass the BTT in order to drive in Singapore. God knows in the near future, Malaysians need to pass the Advance Theory Test (ATT) and Driving Practical and etc. The whole process and fees cost a few K and it took longer time to go through all these stuff. That’s the reason I converted my driving license just in case any policy change.
The test is taken in computerized, touch screen based which some questions have animated videos to show more interactive way for you understand and answer with more confidently. And straight, you will know the result either PASSED or FAILED by click on submit button. Just like those who experience and gone through the MCSE or CCNA online exam. I couldn’t describe in words, but I could tell it was extremely excited the moment you press on that Submit button. Pass, Fail, Pass, Fail… Arggghh…
The knowledge that I have and the rumour that I heard are completely different. My knowledge tells me a person could not have 2 Driving licenses. According to JB’s JPJ, your Malaysian Driving License will be suspended when you mentioned the sensitive word, “Convert License”. Definitely suspended in computerize record, which you own a foreign driving license. Till then, they will issue a letter which contented of Extract of Malaysian Competent Driving License (CDL) Records. With that document, you are eligible to apply and submit together with other docs in order to obtain a temporary license. But I believe there are many people still holding 1 unsuspended Malaysia Driving License and 1 Singapore Driving License.
These are the info that gained, anyway who cares!
CAUTION:
- This is only applicable for Singapore PR who owned a license earlier in Malaysia before he/she has the PR, also restrict by driving Singapore Cars only.- For those who own EP/WP, they still can drive Malaysia cars to enter Singapore or vise-versa. As long as you are holding Singapore IC, you are not permitted to drive foreign cars but its country.
- For those who own PR earlier and without any Driving License, he/she has to go through the entire process in Singapore.

“我终于有驾照了!!”
从那天定于(基本驾驶理论测试, BTT) 直到自己拥有一张临时驾照的同时也等候本人的卡片驾照, 我可大声宣布, 我终于拥有驾照了！!
事情发生了在去年11月, 预定一个日期为测试也顺利完成在于12月2005 年。 一射击对直接通过，大部分大马朋友就不能如院所尝了。据说不怎么容易通过测试。还好, 我应该说侧题是有点儿棘手和必须联想到交通警察交易哲学和悟性, 也许通过测试。 嗯,最好是相信吧！
为何要转换我的驾照其实原因非常简单: 曾经何时, 大马人倾于转换驾照是不需要审阅所有这些测试。 但最近，新加坡政府必须要大马人通过BTT才能在新加坡顺利驾驶。有谁知道在不久的将来, 大马人也必需先通过遣理论测试(ATT) 并且驾驶实练和等等，才能拥有星驾照。 整体过程费花是几千元也不再谈，并且长期实练费时刻审阅这些所谓的充塞。 如果新加坡条例有了变化，那得参了。也因为这样，无形中转换驾驶是其中的原因之一。
测试是采取在电脑化, 给赋予一些生动试题的触摸屏根据了录影显示更加交互式的方法为您了解和与更多确信地回答。 并且, 您将知道结果来源是点击递交按钮，通过又或者俗称“肥佬”。 犹如那些MCSE或CCNA 网上审阅 。 不是字眼能够描述于我当时的兴奋, 我只能告诉是极端抓狂，当您按在那递交按钮的片刻。通过, 失败,通过, 失败… 啊，我的妈呀……
据我所知，我听说与谣言是完全两回事。 我所知道的我们不能有两张驾照。 根据 柔佛州的JPJ, 他们会把大马驾照将暂停，当您提及了敏感词, "convert驾照" 。 他们确定地把你的大马驾照暂停而输入电脑化为记录, 那您才可以拥有国外驾照。 直到后来, 他们将发一封信，而信上注明大马能干驾照萃取物(CDL) 纪录。 有了这张文件, 就有资格申请和递交与其它文件，才获得一张临时驾照。 但我相信有许多人们仍然附带一张完全没被记录删除的马来西亚驾照和一张新加坡驾照。

四男两女的小聚会
在吉隆坡的最后一夜，很想见见一些老朋友。就老早把她们约了，而定于The Curve的星巴克里会面。我和骏雍曰™早已到达目的地，就拿出我们的贴身手提电脑，看看咱们的部落近况和把新年的照片各自发在不同的部落里头。好让读者们，先睹为快！读者们晨早就习惯我一贯的作风，照片先上菜，故事在后头。这样一来，他们都有“唯睹先知”的快感。
渐渐地，耳边传来一阵似乎无限力量的脚踏声，原来是个美女迎面而来向我们打招呼。没有什么时间观念的我，还是瞄了瞄手上的时间，果然没有迟到反而还早到十分钟。更令我佩服的接着是婉婷所谓简讯新朋友，原来是在早已几年前握手言道你好的《不良寒舍》及《七号馆主》部落的灵魂人物、伟良与阿乐。真没想到我们会在这儿碰面，有句话可以形容我们，“有缘千里一线牵，无缘对碰不相见”。
话题原来都离不开部落网站作为开场白，一直聊到娱乐圈琐琐碎碎的惊人故事。伟良出自于988之《开心车队》的主持，相信大家对他并不怎么陌生。那我要好好地介绍这位仁兄了，阿乐。其实他来头也不小，他则在ASTRO举办的首届短片比赛中入围兼得奖。我对他们感觉真的有数不清的光荣，没想到我人生当中，还有那么出色的朋友。说起来，反而我觉得有点惭愧、失敬，失敬！
现在到女生了吧，pink lady是我在高级文凭认识的，芳名 - 慧芳。我说啊，有智慧兼芬芳来形容她最适合不过了。还有一位不在照片中，人称陈美琪。不过她在英国拨了一个轮给我们，对于一些好久好久都没有和她联络的朋友，一个一个向她祝贺还有一定逃不过被责怪的宿命。哈哈……接下来，lady in lime就是陈美琪在7年前介绍，俗称婉婷。但我总喜欢称她为谢婉婷，因为当时大马有个叫做谢婉婷的歌手。所以就联想在一起，那比较容易记得。
都差不多有聊了两小时，直到星巴克要打烊，我们还出去再聊，顿时才发觉原来我们都有说不完的话题。好久都没有这种感觉，回忆中应该是在六至七年前的时候吧……
所以我说啊，部落其实可以让朋友更持续友谊、甚至可以把距离拉近，更不用说最容易得到最update的消息。
